Nicki Minaj was in the Carnival spirit when she visited her homeland Trinidad last week to shoot the video for her latest feel good single “Pound The Alarm.”
At the crack of dawn in Trinidad Nicki woke up the country through Twitter urging as many supports to turn up for the tapping of her music video. The Young Money rapper showed her carnival themed outfit, as she performed the single alongside Trinidad’s popular music stars Machel Montano, Fay-Ann Lyons and Bunji Garlin all turned out for the to be worldwide event from the Pink Friday/Roman Reloaded album.
As Nicki wrapped up the weekend shoot and prepared herself for yet another flight to Paris she took to Twitter to express her joy and sadness.
