Published on May th, 2012

Gold plated chrome cars was recently highlighted in celebration at the Cannes Film festival, but seems like there has been an invention that will eventually top that.  Aside from Swizz Beats latest contribution of the colors colors added to his job title as co-designer and artist, Gemballa has recently introduced the world’s first interior and exterior diamond coating for cars.  The process of creating the coating starts by grinding diamond into small pieces and turning them into a paint-like substance as seen below.

The CEO of the company further explains and clarifies the idea “Our complex process uses genuine diamonds as its key ingredient – not metal pigments, glass fragments, or crystals.”  I’m sure the indulgence of our top 1% percent of rich guys will surely take advantage of the opportunity.  #LUX via TopGear.com

I wonder what’s the worth in blood diamonds to cover a Pinto?
